He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role  

As an HR Administrator at Access Community Health, you will play an important role in supporting safe, responsive, and people-centred services across our regional operations.

This position includes actively recruiting Kaiāwhina | Support Workers and providing a broad range of HR and administrative support including creating employment documentation and managing the hiring pipeline.

You will help maintain consistent processes, support leaders with employment-related administration, and contribute across areas such as payroll administration, fleet and inventory coordination, and office supplies and uniform ordering.

In this role, you will contribute to recruitment and administration practices that reflect respect, equity, inclusion, and cultural safety, helping to ensure our people and communities are supported in ways that enable independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

We’re looking for someone with: 

• Strong administrative skills across a range of areas 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office  
• A commitment to respectful, inclusive, and person-centred service 
• An understanding of cultural safety, equity, and the importance of responding appropriately to diverse communities 

Bonus skills include desired but not essential: 

• HR qualification or relevant studies 
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR principles 
• Experience or confidence working in the health, disability, or home and community support sector
