As an Advanced Support Worker, you will provide coaching and support to support workers working in a restorative model. 

Ngā Kawenga Matua | Key Responsibilities 

• Complete competency assessments and assist training for support workers 
• Assist with support worker recruitment and onboarding 
• Provide complex client care and carry out advanced tasks, for which you will have received training and competency 
• Help investigate incidents and accidents 
• Work closely with the care coordination and community nurse teams 
• Conduct non-complex client evaluations as directed by the local community nurse team 

  
Ngā Tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga | About You  

• Has Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate and/or significant experience in complex cares, caregiving, or patient-focused roles 
• Experience in mentorship, coaching, and training 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 apps and adaptable to various computer systems 
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in Health & Safety and Quality standards 
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies 
• Able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including Clients and Next of Kin, Nursing team, and Coordination staff 
• Able to uphold strict confidentiality and protect all private client and staff information 
• Holds a full New Zealand driver's license 
• Brings a positive, proactive, and can-do attitude to the team
