He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role  
As an Access Community District Nurse, you will work in the community delivering essential healthcare services to clients in their homes. You will develop, implement, and monitor individualised care plans, conduct safety and risk assessments, and provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to a varied client group. 

This role offers a high degree of autonomy and independent clinical decision‑making, balanced by the support of a collaborative and experienced nursing team. You will manage a busy and rewarding caseload while working alongside other registered health professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. 

You’ll be part of a team of dedicated nurses who share the same values, support one another, and learn from each other every day, creating a positive and inclusive environment where both clients and staff thrive. 

Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga | Skills and experience  

• Registered with a current practising certificate 
• Minimum one year experience as a practising Registered Nurse 
• Experience in long‑term conditions, aged residential care, or medical nursing highly desirable 
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and sound clinical judgement 
• Strong organisational skills to effectively manage and prioritise a busy caseload 
• A collaborative team player who builds strong professional relationships in the community 
• Confident with digital tools, apps, and computer systems 
• A current full New Zealand driver’s licence is essential
