You’ll support Tangata with their individual needs and daily living activities — no qualifications or prior experience required. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the health and wellbeing sector while keeping your work-life balance in check. 

Whakangungu | Training 

Comprehensive paid training is provided to set you up for success 
Our Kaiāwhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two–four weeks of employment and includes: Practical training, online self-directed learning and Working alongside a buddy trainer 
  
Mōhou Ake | About You 

• Love working with people and helping them thrive 
• Intuitive and responsive to people’s needs 
• Have a patient, calm, and kind demeanour
• Own a smartphone 
• Have the right to work in New Zealand 
• Full/restricted driver’s license
• Have some experience / exposure supporting people with mental health challenges — we provide full training for everything else
