Pick your shifts. Work across three of Sydney's best kitchens. Get paid properly for it.
We're looking for casual chefs — commis through to CDP — to join the float pool across Olympus Dining (modern Greek, CBD), Cho Cho San (Japanese izakaya, Potts Point) and Apollo (modern Greek, Potts Point). You tell us your availability, we'll build shifts around it.
Who this suits
Chefs who want variety without committing to one venue. Parents working around school hours. People studying. Anyone running their own thing on the side who needs steady casual work that actually pays. Travellers who want to cook in proper kitchens while they're here.
What you'll be doing
Running a section during service. Prep, plating, working clean. The exact section depends on your experience and where we need you — could be larder, grill, pasta, sushi, hot apps. You'll get a proper handover before service, and our head chefs run tight, well-organised kitchens.
What we're looking for
Real kitchen experience. Doesn't have to be fine dining, but you need to be able to hold a section in a busy service without falling behind.
Clean, fast and calm under pressure. We don't run shouty kitchens and we don't hire chefs who do.
Reliable with your availability. Casual doesn't mean flaky — if you commit to a shift, we need you there.
Right to work in Australia.
What we offer
Staff meals every shift. 50% off when you dine at any of our venues. Shifts published in advance through Tanda so you can plan your life. Genuine flexibility — tell us your availability and we'll work with it.
If you want to pick up more hours, the work is there. If you want to keep it to two shifts a week around other commitments, that's fine too.
