JOB SUMMARY
Our client is recruiting a Group Financial Manager to lead group reporting, financial controls and audit processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational efficiency.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for the vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• CA(SA) qualification
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Proven experience managing finance across multiple entities in different countries
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial controls and risk management
• Proven experience in group reporting, consolidation and audit processes
• Experience managing teams and projects
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Clear and professional communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Managing the consolidation process and group reporting cycles across multiple entities and countries
• Preparing monthly reports, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Overseeing year end reporting and audit processes
• Reviewing income statements and balance sheets across multiple entities
• Managing working capital, cash visibility and payment cycles
• Designing and implementing financial controls
• Driving uniformity and automation of control processes
• Reviewing tax reporting and compliance requirements
• Managing group audit processes and external auditor alignment
• Leading finance systems and process improvements
• Managing and developing finance team performance
