JOB SUMMARY
An opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager – Project Logistics to oversee end-to-end freight operations, drive cost-effective logistics solutions, and strengthen client and carrier relationships in Mombasa or Nairobi, Kenya.

Our client is a growing transportation and logistics company delivering freight solutions across multiple transport modes worldwide. With a strong presence in Southern Africa, they are expanding their team to enhance operational efficiency and client service.
   
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• Experience managing project logistics and freight operations
• Strong knowledge of port and sea freight operations
• Agility to move between different kinds of transport modes
• Experience handling exports and imports
• Strong negotiation skills with carriers and vendors
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in logistics operations and compliance frameworks

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Overseeing and optimising full-cycle project logistics operations
• Ensuring seamless, on-time, and cost-effective freight movement
• Maintaining compliance with international trade and industry regulations
• Building and sustaining long-term client and supplier relationships
