About the role
We are seeking a Talent & Development Project Officer to join the People & Culture team at Standards Australia.
Reporting to the Talent & Development Manager, this role supports the coordination and delivery of initiatives across talent acquisition, workforce capability and employee development. The role plays a key part in implementing projects and programs that enhance organisational capability, improve employee engagement and support effective recruitment and learning outcomes.
Working collaboratively across the People & Culture function, you will help plan, implement and evaluate initiatives across the employee lifecycle while providing reporting, insights and system support that enables evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will coordinate and support a range of talent and development initiatives across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing end-to-end coordination for talent and development projects and initiatives
- Supporting recruitment campaigns, onboarding initiatives, leadership programs and capability development activities
- Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines and communication materials
- Monitoring project progress, milestones and risks and escalating issues where required
- Managing logistics for training sessions, workshops and development programs
- Evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment and development initiatives through feedback and data analysis
- Administering and maintaining the Talent Acquisition and Learning Management Systems
- Producing recruitment and learning metrics reports to support workforce planning and compliance monitoring
- Maintaining digital learning materials and resources to ensure they remain current and accessible
- Providing system support and guidance to employees and managers
- Contributing insights and recommendations that support continuous improvement across People & Culture initiatives
About you
You are an organised and proactive project coordinator who enjoys supporting talent and capability initiatives that strengthen organisational performance.
You will bring:
- Experience coordinating projects or initiatives within HR, talent acquisition or learning and development environments
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and support project delivery
- Exposure to HRIS, Talent Acquisition or Learning Management Systems (desirable)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret workforce data
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
