I&C Business Development Manager
Remote (UK-wide travel required)
£70,000 + £6,900 car allowance + commission

The business specialises in delivering grid connection and electrical infrastructure solutions, supporting industrial and commercial clients to secure power capacity, enable electrification, and future-proof their energy needs. With a strong pipeline and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting time to join and play a key role in expanding their market presence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven Business Development Manager with an ICP construction background to take ownership of growth across the industrial and commercial sector. You’ll be instrumental in building relationships, generating new opportunities, and driving revenue within a highly active and evolving market.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across industrial and commercial markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end clients, developers, main contractors and consultants
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to successful close
- Work closely with internal technical, commercial and operational teams to develop tailored client solutions
- Represent the business at industry events, meetings and presentations to enhance market presence and generate leads
Criteria of the Business Development Manager: - Strong background in ICP sales with established industry contacts and access to key decision-makers
- Proven ability to develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline and consistently deliver against targets
- Commercially aware with the ability to understand client needs and shape effective solutions
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and closing skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently while collaborating with wider teams
- Willingness to travel across the UK to meet clients and attend industry events
