Site Supervisor
Brighton / Lewes
£45,000 + full package

If you’re an experienced Supervisor looking to step into a key role on high voltage infrastructure projects, this is a great opportunity to join a growing programme of works within the utilities sector.

You’ll be working on HV substation projects, playing a vital role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements while supporting both site and project leadership teams.

Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor:

• Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with planning, coordination and delivery of site activities
• Overseeing day to day operations on site, supervising teams and maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping
• Delivering briefings including inductions, RAMS, permits and point of work risk assessments
• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and contributing to a strong safety culture across site
• Carrying out regular HSEQ inspections across plant, equipment, excavations and temporary works
• Managing and allocating work to site teams to ensure efficient delivery
• Coordinating materials, plant and site resources in line with programme requirements
• Supporting with documentation including site records, diaries, ITP evidence and reporting of changes or events

Criteria of the Site Supervisor:

• Previous experience working with or alongside a DNO, with a solid understanding of electrical distribution and cable installation
• Proven experience in a supervisory role with strong leadership and communication skills
• SSSTS as a minimum with SMSTS highly desirable
• Streetworks Supervisor qualification (NRSWA)
• IOSH certification as a minimum, with additional qualifications such as First Aid or HNC beneficial
• Comfortable using systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams
• A proactive approach to health and safety and the ability to drive standards on site
• Full UK driving licence
