Site Supervisor

£45,000 + full package
If you’re an experienced Supervisor looking to step into a key role on high voltage infrastructure projects, this is a great opportunity to join a growing programme of works within the utilities sector.
You’ll be working on HV substation projects, playing a vital role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements while supporting both site and project leadership teams.
Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor:
- Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with planning, coordination and delivery of site activities
- Overseeing day to day operations on site, supervising teams and maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping
- Delivering briefings including inductions, RAMS, permits and point of work risk assessments
- Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and contributing to a strong safety culture across site
- Carrying out regular HSEQ inspections across plant, equipment, excavations and temporary works
- Managing and allocating work to site teams to ensure efficient delivery
- Coordinating materials, plant and site resources in line with programme requirements
- Supporting with documentation including site records, diaries, ITP evidence and reporting of changes or events
Criteria of the Site Supervisor: - Previous experience working with or alongside a DNO, with a solid understanding of electrical distribution and cable installation
- Proven experience in a supervisory role with strong leadership and communication skills
- SSSTS as a minimum with SMSTS highly desirable
- Streetworks Supervisor qualification (NRSWA)
- IOSH certification as a minimum, with additional qualifications such as First Aid or HNC beneficial
- Comfortable using systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams
- A proactive approach to health and safety and the ability to drive standards on site
- Full UK driving licence
