We’re looking for skilled Overhead Line Estimators to join a team delivering essential high-voltage infrastructure projects.
This is your opportunity to work on projects that maintain, upgrade, and reimagine the electricity network, including high-voltage overhead powerlines up to 400kV, supporting the country’s energy needs and the drive to net zero.
Responsibilities of the Estimator:
- Prepare accurate tender pricing for overhead line projects, analysing supply chain quotations and benchmarking costs
- Scope projects, identify risks, and challenge project solutions
- Collaborate with bid managers, design teams, project managers, and commercial teams
- Support post-submission presentations and client interactions
- Maintain professional working relationships across all project stakeholders
Criteria for the Estimator: - Previous experience in infrastructure projects, ideally overhead line estimating up to 400kV but will review 132kV as a minimum
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Knowledge of construction and contractual terminology
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proactive and methodical approach to delivering high-quality estimates
