An exciting opportunity with our client, a leading consultancy firm, as we seek a talented Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join our clients dynamic team in Reading. This permanent role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the protection and improvement of the environment, working on a diverse range of projects, from residential developments to renewable energy initiatives and local government endeavours

• Collaborate with an established team of engineers and directors

Preferred Requirements:

• Expertise in geoenvironmental and geological assessments, including site investigations, land quality assessments, and coal mining risk evaluations
• Experience in project management, report writing, remediation strategies, and geotechnical assessments
• Proficiency in combining geotechnical analysis, ground gas assessments, mining studies, and soil/groundwater concentration evaluations
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and make a tangible difference to the organization
• Passion for protecting and improving the environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in geoenvironmental, geology, or a related field
• Proven track record in a similar consultancy or contracting practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team and clients
