Gradco has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced People and Culture Manager to join their dynamic team. Based in Launceston and reporting to the Executive Manager, People and Culture, this pivotal role will manage all aspects of operational HR while collaborating on strategic initiatives with the Senior Management team.
As the People and Culture Manager, you’ll step into a role where your expertise and initiative will directly shape the organisation’s culture, capability, and employee experience. With the scope to make this role your own, you’ll be empowered to lead meaningful HR initiatives, influence strategic direction, and drive positive change in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include the provision of expert HR advice to operational leaders, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with operational needs, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, agreements, and quality standards. The role will also lead the implementation of HR strategies, frameworks and policies that support workforce capability, succession planning, leadership development and employee engagement.
The successful candidate will be an adaptable HR professional passionate about creating a positive workplace. A track record in a senior HR role together with expertise in talent acquisition, industrial relations, and performance and development is required, ideally with tertiary qualifications in HR, IR or a related field. Demonstrated success in driving HR transformation initiatives to enhance service efficiency, employee experience and organisational performance will also be highly valued.
