We are excited to offer a rewarding permanent full-time opportunity for a passionate Educator to join our team at Star of the Sea Long Day Care & Kindy in Wondunna. Working 38 hours per week, you'll be part of a supportive and dedicated team, making a genuine difference in children's lives every day by fostering inclusion, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
About You
You are warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about early childhood education and inclusion. You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and are committed to helping every child succeed in a play-based learning environment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide targeted one-on-one and small group support for children, including those with additional needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and supported
- Support the delivery of play-based learning experiences
- Work collaboratively with educators on programming, documentation, and daily routines
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and your team
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy
To Be Successful, You Will Have: - Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent required
- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Experience in an early childhood or inclusion support role (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
- Completion of National Safeguarding (Geccko) Training Courses 1 & 2 mandatory and Coures 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting children in a play-based learning environment
