HIRING: Full-time Executive Housekeeper in Nashville, TN.
We are assisting a private household in Nashville to unearth an exceptional Executive Housekeeper with current experience and strengths focused on household-management in order to effectively and efficiently oversee the daily operations of an 8,900 sq. ft. residence. This role requires a highly organized, proactive professional who can lead with confidence, understand and optimize common home organizational systems, maintain elevated standards, and support the smooth functioning of a busy household.
This position is 80% executive cleaning and 20% home management.
Key Housekeeping Responsibilities (80%):
- Full oversight of housekeeping operations, including daily and deep cleaning, organization, and presentation of the home
- High-level laundry care, including garment care, steaming, wardrobe organization, and seasonal rotation
- Light childcare support as needed, in collaboration with an existing live-in au pair
- Errands, vehicle coordination, and general household support as required
- Grocery unpacking and food prep, stock groceries and maintaining household supply inventories independently
- Cooking a huge plus
- Helping walk and provide dog care (the family has two dogs)
House Management duties include (20%):
- Most importantly keeping a schedule for weekly, monthly, yearly household item replacements and bigger projects that are scheduled regularly for maintenance
- Changing air filter filters, changing water filters
-Independent Ownership of responsibilities
- Household management support
- Systems implementation, vendor coordination
- Inventory management and errands
The ability to meet with vendors and keep track of service appointments for the house would be great but definitely an outlier responsibility.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as an Executive Housekeeper in large, private residences
- Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to implement and maintain household systems and standards
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and be comfortable running errands
- Professional, discreet, and adaptable
- Local to Nashville preferred; relocation may be considered for the right candidate
- Knowledge of fine fabrics and antiques is essential
- Independent and self-starter - mandatory
Compensation
$35-$45/hour (DOE)
Benefits
PTO - 1 week per 6 mos.
Health Insurance - Stipend, we've done a few hundred per month in the past.
Mileage reimbursement - We've never done mileage reimbursement, but can.
Holidays & Vacation
2 weeks per year, ideally 1 week after the first 6 months but open for discussion.
