With an ambitious capital works program underway, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to help shape the next phase of their growth.
Role
This is far more than a typical Project Engineer position. Reporting directly to the General Manager Facilities, you will have the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of capital projects that will make a genuine impact on manufacturing performance, efficiency, sustainability and future growth. From concept development through to commissioning, you will be at the forefront of delivering projects that enhance operations across multiple sites.

Role Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from concept, design and planning through to commissioning and handover
- Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines and resource plans
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Provide engineering expertise across mechanical, electrical and process systems
- Drive project delivery to ensure milestones, budgets and performance targets are achieved
- Review engineering designs, drawings and specifications
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Support innovation, sustainability and operational excellence initiatives
- Build strong working relationships across operations, maintenance and leadership teams
Requirements - Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline
- Experience as a Project Engineer within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, agriculture, industrial processing or a related sector
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver engineering projects from start to finish
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience managing contractors and cross-functional teams
- Sound knowledge of WHS and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Location & Remuneration Based in Girraween, NSW, with regular travel to company sites as required.
