Client
Our client is one of Australia's most significant poultry operations, supplying a unique range of poultry products to major retailers, QSR operators, food service distributors, and wholesalers. They now wish to appoint a new State Livestock Manager to manage their extensive Queensland farming operations. We are looking for a strong people leader with extensive poultry experience.
 
Role Responsibilities
Your role will be to manage the performance of the breeder, hatchery, and broiler farms across Southeast Queensland. Additionally, you will oversee all transport, catching, and live haul operations while working closely with the processing sites and other business and industry stakeholders.
 
Requirements

• Extensive livestock farming experience gained in a large, complex business
• Strong leadership skills, with an ability to coach, mentor and develop the team
• Understanding of poultry welfare along with sound knowledge of safety, environmental and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to develop and implement farming plans to budget with analytical capability and effective P&L and budget management
• Superior communication skills
