Our Client
Our client is an established Australian irrigation, pumping and water-management business within a respected national agribusiness group. It supplies products, technical advice and services to agricultural, commercial, industrial and domestic customers, with Tasmanian branches at Latrobe, Launceston and Scottsdale.

The Role
This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for the performance and continued growth of our client's Tasmanian operation. Reporting to Group management, you will lead the three Store Managers, set clear priorities and bring the branches together as one effective State business.

• Lead State strategy, sales growth, budgets, KPIs and overall commercial performance.
• Coach and support the Store Managers while building capability, accountability and teamwork.
• Strengthen relationships with growers, businesses, suppliers and key industry partners.
• Maintain high standards across inventory, purchasing, customer service, safety and administration.
• Oversee the delivery of irrigation projects, technical advice, installation and after-sales service.
• Support solutions involving pumps, pipelines, filtration, water transfer, system controls and efficient irrigation management.

Requirements
You will be a practical commercial leader who can manage through Branch Managers while remaining visible to customers and staff. Experience in irrigation, pumping, water management, agricultural supplies or a closely related technical sector will be highly regarded.

• Proven multi-site, regional, State or senior branch-management experience.
• Strong sales leadership, financial management and performance-management skills.
• Sound knowledge of irrigation systems, pumping equipment and project or service delivery.
• Ability to lead people, manage change, and build a consistent customer-focused culture.
• Clear communication, practical judgement and willingness to travel regularly between branches.

Remuneration and Location
We will negotiate an attractive senior management package with the successful candidate. The role is based in Tasmania and involves regular travel between the Latrobe, Launceston and Scottsdale branches.
