We are partnered with a global automation organisation delivering a major warehouse installation project for one of Australia's largest retailers. We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to join the team in NSW.
As a Senior Safety Advisor, you’ll lead and manage all site safety activities across the full project lifecycle, from installation of conveyors, steelwork, mezzanines, plant, and storage, through to commissioning and handover. You will work closely with the builder, client, and international stakeholders, ensuring compliance, safe practices, and the successful rollout of a new safety system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all site safety tasks and compliance for the K-Mart project
• Conduct audits, inspections, onboarding, and inductions
• Support commissioning and handover phases, ensuring all equipment is safely operational
• Implement and champion a new site safety system and procedures
• Conduct ICAM incident investigations and reporting
• Engage confidently with international teams and stakeholders
• Support RTW compliance and reporting requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in construction project safety (Tier 2 projects)
• Senior Safety Advisor experience at project level
• ICAM incident investigation expertise (mandatory)
• Strong stakeholder management: builder, client, and project management teams
• Hands-on, proactive, and committed to seeing the project through from start to finish
• Experience with large-scale warehouse/plant installations; automation experience is a bonus
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to enforce safety culture on site
