Due to ratification of EUs Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and need for regulatory compliance, we are looking to recruit a Project Manager to lead an internal Business Programme for a period of 12 months.
  
You will lead and manage different business workstreams to ensure compliance necessitating implementation of a central framework to address gaps pertaining to CRA, ensuring products are secure throughout their lifecycle.
  
As a fixed term Project Manager, you will have at least 5-10 years’ experience in defining robust processes and implementing quality controls procedures, ideally in the field of cybersecurity, and digital products in a technology environment.

Day to Day

Our customer base includes many different industries and markets around the world. Our complete TETRA and LTE solutions have been developed specifically for users in multiple sectors to face their critical communications challenges.

There is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business. Project management activities that you will be responsible for include:

• Planning, Management and Leadership of Cyber Resilience Act regulatory project.
• Identify and put in place necessary process and ways-of-working changes regarding Product cybersecurity requirements and vulnerability handling.
• Manage multi-disciplinary team to review end-to-end security requirements for digital products, hardware and software, focusing on secure-by-default design including development and production activities and comprehensive vulnerability management.
• Work together with subject matter experts to address, document vulnerability and remediate them.
• Lead a cross-functional team to set up process to share and publicly disclose information about fixed vulnerabilities, including a description of the potential vulnerabilities after software update.
• Coordinate to establish an early warning notification process of an actively exploited vulnerability.
• Support and enable subject matter experts to develop and document the mechanisms to securely distribute software updates.
• Manage regular project meetings including sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring accountability of team members and individuals in the wider business.
• Ensure approaches/techniques are used for building high performing teams, maintaining good team morale and a high level of operating efficiency.
• Ensure personal and team adherence to defined project management processes.
• Capture and manage project risks and opportunities with appropriate planning of mitigations.
• Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring an appropriate escalation of risks and issues.
• Negotiate the availability of project resources with Resource Managers and other Project Managers, ensuring smoothed and optimised resource utilisation.
• Work in partnership with Technical Leads / Architects, domain experts and department heads to deliver robust end-to-end process to achieve CRA compliance within Sepura, one that can stand Information Security audits.  

This job may involve occasional travelling so the successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence and their own car. Travel expenses will be paid.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering disciple, or equivalent experience
• Training in project management to a project manager level, with accredited certification through SAFe, IPMA, APM, Prince 2 or IPM or equivalent.

Experience and Skills:

• 5 to 10+ years’ experience leading development project teams in a multi-discipline environment delivering auditable and regulatory compliant business processes.
• Strong background in quality and implementing process compliance process driven systems, with proven experience in cyber and information security field.
• Hands on experience in documenting processes and an ability to contribute to the optimisation, improvement, and maintenance of existing information security relevant processes.
• Detailed understanding of product and software development lifecycles.
• Experience and/or familiarity with s/w for embedded, platform and application product solutions in an Agile environment.
• Experience and/or familiarity with development software configuration and continuous integration workflows.
• Understanding of the interdependencies between software and hardware elements and how to successfully deliver integrated product solutions.
• Wider understanding of product development and realisation principles (Embedded software, Electronics,) and methodologies to facilitate best practice for product design and development.

Nice to have:  

• Experience with network connected products such as wireless audio and other radio product accessories.
