Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Berkshire, are looking for an experienced Crisis & Resilience Fund Assessor to join their team and play a crucial role within their Trades Operation 

Role: Crisis & Resilience Fund Assessor
Pay: £30 ph Umbrella
Working Arrangement: Fully Remote
Contract Length: 4 months rolling
Location: Fully Remote

Responsibilities: 

• Assess applications for Crisis Payments and Housing Payments from the Crisis Resilience Fund and make timely, compliant, and consistent decisions.
• Apply the Crisis Resilience Fund Policy, government guidance and regulations accurately, considering individual circumstances and wider household needs.
• Consider a wide range of housing cost pressures such as rent shortfalls, rent in advance, deposits and removal costs as permitted by the scheme.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
• Experience working in a Crisis & Resilience Fund Assessor or similar role
• Training or equivalent experience that provides a basic understanding of welfare benefits, rent arrears, debt advice or relevant financial support processes.
