Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Desktop Technician to join their team and play a crucial role within their IT Operation 

Position: Desktop Technician
Rate: £21.08 p/h umbrella
Contract Duration: 5 months possible extension     
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Duties: 

• Assist in monitoring the performance of the network and in planning network capacity and server infrastructure
• Install PCs, laptops and desktop hardware, with and provide support across the organisation for Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10 and Windows 11) and Microsoft Office applications
• Assist in the process of on-boarding officers with laptops and be able to resolve user issues referring to a senior officer where necessary

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
• Experience working in a Desktop Technician or similar role
