Are you an experienced Adult Social Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, based in the West Midlands, is looking for an Assistant Team Manager to join their Ageing Well service.

Position: Assistant Team Manager – Ageing Well
Rate: £35.44 p/h
Contract Duration: 3-6 Months

Purpose:

• You’ll support the Team Manager with the day-to-day running of the service, providing leadership, supervision and oversight across the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision, guidance and support to an agreed group of team members.
• Support workflow, quality assurance and the effective management of demand and risk.
• Deputise for the Team Manager and represent the service at meetings and forums.
• Support strengths-based practice, safeguarding, service development and quality improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Previous Local Authority Adult Social Care experience is essential. Please do not apply if you have not worked within a Local Authority setting.
• Social Work qualification recognised by Social Work England and current registration.
• Significant post-qualification experience within Adult Social Care, including work with older people.
• Experience supervising staff or students and undertaking quality assurance activity.
