Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Local Authority, are looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their operations. 

Position: Project Support Officer
Salary: £22.55 per hour Umbrella 
Contract Duration: 5 Month Contract(possible extension)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Purpose:

• To be responsible for the creation and ongoing administration of major capital schemes and projects from inception to completion. Schemes will vary in types and complexity across all transport theme types.

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide comprehensive and senior level support to project managers with the management of projects, maintaining and setting up excel spreadsheets to record and report on the performance of each project.
• To prepare procurement documents and assist in the management of design resources and work contractors.
• To be responsible for all contractual and financial issues in the life of a project or programme. This will include performance monitoring, quality checks, risk management and escalation of issues.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experience working in a Project Support Officer or similar role
