Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for your next opportunity? Our client is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities Team and support children, young people and their families to achieve positive outcomes.

Position: Social Worker – Children with Disabilities
Rate: £39.04 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Essential: Enhanced DBS required for this position

Purpose:

• You’ll manage a varied caseload of children and young people with disabilities, working alongside families and partner agencies to assess needs and provide appropriate support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete assessments, reviews and care planning for children and young people with disabilities.
• Manage a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and completing statutory work within required timescales.
• Work closely with families, schools, health professionals and other agencies to coordinate support and achieve positive outcomes.
• Safeguard children and young people, responding appropriately to concerns and changes in circumstances

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience with Children assessment teams.
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
