Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, an educational institute in Bromley, are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team and play a crucial role in their essential learning and accessibility support.

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Rate: £27,875 to £28,701 per annum 
Contract Duration: Fixed Term (Term Time Only) 
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Purpose:

• To provide essential learning and accessibility support to young people and adults with SEN. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• To assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction of the support managers and curriculum team leaders.
• To contribute to the assessment of students’ learning and personal progression, working with relevant members of staff to contribute to the development of person-centred support plans.
• To anticipate barriers to learning and participation, develop intervention strategies to minimise difficulties.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant or similar. 
• A good standard of general education.
• Minimum of Level 2 Maths and English or willingness to work towards and complete.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
