Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in South London, are looking for an experienced Complaint Service Improvement Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their repairs operations.  

Position: Complaint Service Improvement Officer
Rate: £21.28 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: 3 months (Possible Extension)
Work Style: Hybrid After 4 Weeks

Duties:

• Handling of customer complaints, member and MP enquiries, statutory enquiries, including Freedom of Information (FOI), Environmental Information Requests (EIR) and Data Protection requests (DPRs).
• Lead and initiate the Directorate’s service improvement work and identifying improvements in service.
• Responsible for the analysis, allocation, administration and collation of all representations in the form of complaints, correspondence, MP and Member enquiries including Ombudsman enquiries.
• Identify and implement service improvements; researching best practice and make recommendations to managers and DMT.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a complaints improvement role or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within a local authority or social housing provider.
• Up to date relevant knowledge of complaints practices in the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR regulations and other relevant legislation.
