Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Midlands, are looking for an experienced People Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their People Operation

Position: People Officer
Rate: £20.59 p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties: 

• primary point of contact for colleagues seeking assistance with HR related queries relating to policies, procedures and systems.
• Ensure that all queries coming into the help desk email are responded to in a timely manner and completed to resolution as early as possible.
• Complete right to work and DBS checks in a compliant and timely manner.
• Prepare high quality and accurate Contracts of Employment and employment amendment letters to colleagues.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working a HR support or similar role
• Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
