Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in East London, are looking for an experienced Tenancy Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing management operations.        

Position: Tenancy Officer
Rate: £29.78 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Jan 2027) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Purpose:

• To hit the ground running as a tenancy officer, manage a housing patch confidently, and handle ASB cases from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Handle new applications, sign up tenants, explain tenancy rules, and process property transfers or terminations.
• Collect rent, set up payment plans, and support tenants who fall behind on their payments.
• Tackle anti-social behaviour, neighbor disputes, and breaches of tenancy agreements.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experienced in end-to-end ASB case management.
• Experienced in tenancy management across a designated housing patch.
