Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South West London, are looking for an experienced Allocations and Verifications Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Operations.   

Position: Allocations and Verifications Officer
Rate: £30.67 Hourly rate (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Work arrangement: Hybrid 2 days in office


Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide a high quality, customer focused and responsive housing allocation service to tenants and residents applying for transfers and social housing.
• Advertise properties and short-list prospective tenants by matching need and qualification criteria through the processes of the choice-based lettings scheme.
• Apply rigour and undertake detailed and thorough investigations (conducting home visits where necessary), in the verification process and in the approval of all housing applications through the housing register.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 year experience within a Allocations and Verifications Officer or equivalent.
• Experience of working within a local authority, housing association or voluntary organisation
