Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South East London, are looking for an experienced Lawyer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Criminal Law Operations.   

Position: Lawyer
Rate: £45 Hourly rate (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Work arrangement: Hybrid


Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsibility for a full caseload of criminal litigation and licensing matters
• Negotiate on behalf of the Local Authority with external agencies and individuals on matters relating to the Regulatory functions.
• Act as Legal Adviser to the Licensing Committee including writing reports and otherwise attending and advising Committees as requires.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 year experience within a Lawyer or equivalent.
• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
