Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East Midlands, are looking for an experienced Technical Support Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Operations.   

Position: Housing Options Advisor
Rate: £30 hourly rate (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Work arrangement: Hybrid


Job Responsibilities: 

• Conduct the initial homelessness assessments for customers who are at risk of homelessness.
• Assess eligibility, homelessness and reason to believe priority need and determine if any S188 duties are owed with a key priority to preventing homelessness with a positive outcome.
• Manage a varied caseload, ensuring that all advice, actions, casework, assessments and decisions comply with relevant legislation, guidance and case law.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 year experience within a Housing Options Advisor or equivalent.
• Experience of working within a local authority, housing association or voluntary organisation
