Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Housing Support Worker to join their team and play a crucial role in their Homelessness Operations.   

Position: Housing Support Worker
Rate: £17.14 hourly rate (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Work arrangement: Fully onsite


Job Responsibilities: 

• Working with the client to place them into errancy accommodation and then working with them to move them to privately rented accommodation
• Provide short term support to households referred by the Housing Options team who are at strong risk of homelessness.
• Advise and assist clients to obtain the benefits payments, health and social care to which they may be entitled

Job Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Requires
• At least 2 year experience within a Housing Support Worker or equivalent.
