Senior Adult Practitioner needed in east London for the learning disabilities team. £36.00 per hour. Hybrid working
Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in East London, are looking for a Senior Practitioner to work within the Learning disabilities team.
Position: Senior Practitioner
Rate: £36 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3-6 Months
Purpose:
Supervising and leading practitioners and residents to achieve best outcomes through statutory social work, leadership and multi-agency working.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality care to adults with learning disabilities.
- Risk management and decision making in line with the care act 2014 and MCA 2005.
- Support staff and monitor workload through regular supervision, case management and professional development support.
- Work collaboratively by building effective relationships with internal and external agencies.
Job Requirements:
- Experience supervising and supporting staff members in an adults social care setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding adults the care act 2014 and the mental capacity act 2005.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in local authority setting.
- Ability to manage complex cases and professional decision making.
