Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Rent Income Assistant to join their team and play a crucial role in their Income Operations.   

Position: Rent Income Assistant
Rate: £23.23 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 Months possibility of Extension
Work arrangement: Fully Onsite


Job Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the Rent Income Team to provide a robust telephone duty rota and answer queries at reception regarding tenant rent accounts and arrears when needed; redirecting calls and enquiries where necessary to officers.
• Deal with tenant enquiries by providing rent account balances and making repayment arrangements on non-complex arrears cases, managing difficult and sensitive conversations or complaints in a balanced, tactful and diplomatic manner.
• Setting up direct debits, taking rent payments over the telephone, ordering rent cards and rent statements for tenants.
• Collect low level arrears on residential rent accounts as directed by the Income Manager.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 year experience within a Rent Income Assistant or equivalent.
