JOB ROLE

Our client is looking for a seasoned document controller with at least six years of relevant construction sector expertise.

The ideal applicant should have practical experience overseeing project documentation on building sites and have worked with a consultancy or contracting firm.

The candidate will be in charge of keeping an effective document control system and making sure that all project-related documents are distributed, tracked, and archived on time.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• All project documentation, such as drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and project correspondence, should be managed, maintained, and under control.
• Documents should be registered, distributed, tracked, and archived in compliance with project specifications and corporate policies.
• To guarantee that documents are submitted and approved on time, coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Ensure that only the most recent authorized documents are accessible by keeping precise document registers and revision records.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, business administration, or a similar discipline.
• Competence with document management systems (EDMS) such Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, SharePoint, and others.
• Strong familiarity with construction documentation procedures, such as RFIs, submittals, drawings, MIRs, IRs, and transmittals.
