Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in North West London, are looking for an experienced Principal Traffic Engineer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Traffic operations. 

Position: Principal Traffic Engineer
Rate: £38.26 per hour (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: 5 Months Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the technical team in the planning, investigation and delivery of traffic and parking engineering measures and schemes.
• The postholder will be responsible for budget, contract and project management, ensuring compliance with the Council’s policies and procedures.
• The postholder will support the Transport and Projects Manager in organising technical staff and administering the service, while representing the service and deputising for the Manager when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the use of and operation of CAD, GIS and imaging software
• Previous experience working Traffic Engineer role or similar
• Driving License
