Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Rent Income Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Operations.   

Position: Rent Income Officer
Rate: £30.47 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Work arrangement: Hybrid


Job Responsibilities: 

• To monitor tenants’ rent accounts including parking accounts and take prompt action in accordance with the rent collection procedures to prevent the accumulation of debt and homelessness.
• Creation and management of use and occupation accounts, ensuring effective transfer of payments and regular monitoring of cases
• To provide advice on housing and other welfare benefits to tenants and assist them in maximising income and benefit entitlement.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Rent Income Officer role or equivalent.
