Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in Barnsley,  are looking for an experienced Plumber to join their team and play a crucial role in their maintenance operations.        

Position: Plumber
Rate: £19.95 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (Oct 2026) Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• To be able to provide a professional, quality of craftsmanship and customer orientated delivery of service to all Building Works internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To carry out all aspects of plumbing work on maintenance, repairs and Construction projects to Council dwellings, schools and public buildings.
• To install central heating systems, solid fuel boilers, sink units, water closets, baths, showers and wash basin.
• To submit all worksheets and documents relating to job (electronically or by paper) within the required timescales.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• NVQ level 2 in Plumbing.
• Driving License and access to own vehicle required. 
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
