Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Somerset, are looking for an experienced Revenues Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Revenues Operations.   

Position: Revenues Officer
Rate: £19.02 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Work arrangement: Remote


Job Responsibilities: 

• Obtain and assess information to determine local taxation liability in
  accordance with legislation
• Agree repayment plans and determine appropriate recovery action that takes account of the person’s circumstances whilst maximising collection
• Contribute to the review of working practices, procedures, and documents by making suggestions for improvement in service delivery and performance

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Revenues Officer role or equivalent.
