Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Northwest England, are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role within their human resources operations.        

Position: HR Business Partner
Rate: £32 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: (Temporary) with Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office

Job Purpose: 

• As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will be required to partner with management teams, delivering strategic goals with regards to people related activity, driving initiatives such as workforce planning, talent management, and organisational restructuring.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Drive people related initiatives such as workforce planning including succession planning, talent management and career development initiatives, people and leadership development/performance, training, employee engagement and retention
• You will provide advice and leadership on organisational matters and people-related projects, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.
• Act as the primary interface between aligned Director(s) and their management teams and People and Organisational Culture, ensuring the appropriate commissioning and engagement of other corporate support teams to deliver directorate priorities.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to senior managers on organisational matters including transformation, organisation design and delivery and employment law issues engaging the employee relations and policy team at the appropriate time

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a HR Business Partner role or equivalent.
• You must hold a Graduate Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) qualification or actively pursuing CIPD level 7 to be considered for this placement.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
