Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Head of HR/OD Business Change to join their team and play a crucial role within their human resources operations.       

Position: Head of HR/OD Business Change
Rate: £92 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3-6 Months) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• Working directly to the Director of Workforce Change this role is a key member of the HR/OD leadership team, your focus will be on Business Partners and Change and the HR Advisory functions.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide complex HR advice, guidance and analysis, specifically around workforce planning, organisational design, equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring best practice and legislative compliance.
• Lead the HR Business Partners to proactively enable major structural change programmes such as restructuring, redundancy, TUPE transfer, policy consultation, managing the organisational impact and the people implications.
• Deliver strategic advice and guidance on all employee relations related activities.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Head of HR/OD Business Change role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
