Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Bishop's Stortford, are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their rented & leasehold operations.       

Position: Operations Manager
Rate: £30 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (February 2026) with Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: 2 days in the office

Purpose:

• Lead operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the three strands of service delivery within your area, including account management of relevant external third party stakeholders to contribute to the core objectives of our strategy and business plan.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage a team of colleagues across supported, rented & leasehold with direct line management of Housing Managers and Supported Managers.
• Plan and deploy area resources, (utilising workforce scheduling tools when available), to ensure high quality, timely delivery of support and services, maximum efficiency and achieve financial targets through budgeting and monitoring of Profit & Loss data.
• Accountable for identification and resolution of complex Profit & Loss related issues within your area.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Operations Manager role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
