Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Southwest London, are looking for an experienced Director of Corporate Property to join their team and play a crucial role within their asset management operations.        

Position: Director of Corporate Property
Rate: £600 per day (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (March 2026) with Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid 

Job Purpose: 

• The Role As Interim Director of Corporate Property, you will lead the strategic management of Westminster’s extensive property portfolio, ensuring alignment with the council’s Fairer vision.

Job Responsibilities: 

• You’ll oversee capital programmes, asset optimisation, sustainability initiatives, and commercial investments, while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• You’ll oversee capital programmes, asset optimisation, sustainability initiatives, and commercial investments, while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Lead the development and implementation of corporate property strategies, including carbon reduction and estate optimisation. Oversee a property portfolio with a total budget of approx. £217m, including £44m commercial income and £31m non-pay costs.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Director of Corporate Property role or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and occupational property sectors. Expertise in building services, FM, estates, or construction.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
