Position: Plumbing operative                 
Rate: £35,286        
Location: Dorset                       
Work Type: Fixed term (12 months) 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Day to day plumbing fault diagnosis and general repairs in occupied or void properties and garages
• Installation or repair of components, bathrooms, toilets, showers, shower trays wash hand basin/sink, cold water tank including making good to wall tiling/boxing in/bath panel
• Repair or replace or add to existing domestic hot/cold water systems including solid fuel including but not limited to wet systems radiator renewal, thermostatic mixer taps, pump replacement
• Participate in Out of Hours standby rota
• Supervise and oversee any apprentice, trainee or person on work experience as requested

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a plumber post training (or similar)
• Qualification or proven long-term experience in more than one building trades (Desirable)
• Valid UK manual driving license
• Experience working in occupied properties
• Have strong customer service skills
