Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, law firm who are looking for a commercial property paralegal to join their team team in Manchester

Position: commercial property paralegal                  
Rate: £25,000-£27,000 DOE        
Location: Manchester                       
Work Type: Permanent 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Assisting senior fee-earners with transactions including acquisitions, disposals, lease drafting, lease renewals, surrenders, licences, and easements
• Preparing reports, correspondence, contracts and other legal documentation
• Managing parts of the property lifecycle from contract drafting through to completion
• Helping to assist with post-completion formalities: SDLT returns, registration, file closure
• Maintaining accurate filing, case-management systems, tracking deadlines
• Completing legal research, title investigations, Land Registry enquiries

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Previous experience working as a paralegal (or similar) in either commercial property or real estate law
• Previous experience or good understanding of landlord & tenant law (leases, licences, documentation)
•  Excellent drafting, attention to detail, organisational skills, Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a strong interest in property law
