Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Duty Solicitor to join their team in London. 

Position: Duty Solicitor       
Rate: £37,000 - £47,000         
Location: London  
Work Type: Permanent  

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Attend police stations and represent clients detained there.
• Prepare cases for trial and appeal.
• Conduct advocacy in the Magistrate's Court.
• Handle own Criminal Defence caseload. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Minimum 1 year PQE in criminal matters.
• Able to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Client-focused and able to communicate effectively.
• Proficient with IT.
• Crime Duty accreditation is preferred but not essential.
