Job Role: Centre Assistant
Temporary or Permanent: Temp

Location: Chelmsford
Hours: 08:30am 14:30pm
Enhanced DBS is a MUST!
Rate of Pay (Umbrella and Inside IR35): £17.50ph

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the catering team in preparing meals for site users and carry out other associated tasks such as cleaning and clearing surfaces and washing up utensils/crockery etc.
• Wash and iron bedding and change and make up beds for site users.
• To take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons / vulnerable adults who you come into contact with.

Job Requirements:

• Have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience as a Centre Assistant or equivalent.
• Qualification in basic food hygiene or willingness to undertake training as necessary
• Experience of using cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and other associated equipment and ability to serve and wash up after meals.
• Relevant previous experience of carrying out general domestic duties
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Valid enhanced DBS
