Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Council, who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in Bristol. 

Position: Finance Manager - Technical and Accounting        
Salary: £57,884     
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)     
Work Type: Permanent  

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will join our clients' Adult Social Care team and will cover the following:

• Provide financial guidance and advice to managers to improve business and the delivery of corporate vision.
• Take a proactive approach in managing and delivering financial and management services. This will include budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and project support. 
• Identify and develop opportunities to transform the delivery of the financial services across the council. 
• Progress internal and external financial documents for your respective area of the portfolio. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• CCAB qualification (or equivalent) with relevant PQE. 
• Previous experience of resolving technical accounting issues and ensuring resources are used to maximise service output. 
• Able to deal with a range of stakeholders and motivate/control the work of a finance team. 
• Able to stay organised to meet tight deadlines.
