Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association, are looking for an experienced Planned Project Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role within their property safety operations.       

Position: Planned Project Surveyor
Salary: £45,266 per annum 
Contract: Permanent 
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Purpose:

• The Planned Project Surveyor (Property Safety) role is responsible for leading the delivery of planned work and quality control for Property Safety projects including, but not limited to, passenger lift modernisations/ upgrades, CCTV installations, door entry system installations/ upgrades, platform lift and stairlift installations and water hygiene projects e.g. cold-water storage tank installations.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead on planning and preparation for installation and upgrade projects, working with Contract Mangers and external consultants to capture requirements.
• Perform a quality control role by carrying out post-inspections of completed works, preparing snagging lists and monitoring through to completion.
• Supervise and monitor contractors through each programme of works to ensure that the delivery meet all required standards of performance, including time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Category Manager role or equivalent.
• Formal technical qualification in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), lifts or water hygiene.
• Plus one of the following qualifications (desirable):
  −
  Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations or Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
  −
  Authorised Person Lift Management (HTM 08-02).
  −
  Responsible Person & Duty Holder Training: Legionella in Hot & Cold Water Systems.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
